MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, (by Adjournment)
on Tuesday the Seventeenth Day of November in the
Thirty sixthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc.

A Bill of Samuel Newport< no role > Gent Keeper of New prison at
Clerkenwell in this County for Monies paid by him for necessaries
delivered to the Sick prisoners in his Custody (by Order of the apothecary)
from the 19th. day of April last to the 20th. day of October last amounting
to the sum of Six pounds Ten Shillings and nine pence halfpenny
being laid before this Court for Payment, and it appearing by the Report
of the Committee appointed to examine and audit all Demands made upon this
County, previous to the Payment thereof, that the Charges therein are just and
true. IT IS ORDERED that Mr. Joseph Burchell< no role > the County Treasurer,
do pay unto the said Samuel Newport< no role > (out of the County Rate)
the said Sum of Six pounds Ten Shillings and nine pence half penny
and that the Receipt of the said Samuel Newport< no role > together with
this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for such Payment.
