said Archbishops and Bishops will in like Manner recommend the said Agree-
ments (or one of them) to be entered into and strictly observed by the Clergy
and Inhabitants of the several Parishes within their respective Dioceses: And
that the said Moderator of the late General Assembly of the Church of Scotland
will recommend the said Agreements to be entered into and strictly observed by
every Minister and Preacher, as well of the Established Church as those of the
Episcopal Communion, and by the Members of their several Congregations in
that Part of Great Britain called Scotland . And their Lordships further re-
commend to his Grace the Duke of Portland to transmit Copies of the said Re-
solutions and Agreements to the Vice-Chancellor of the Two Universities in
England, and to the Principals or chief Officers of the several Universities in that
Part of Great Britain called Scotland , recommending to them to use their best
Endeavours that the said Agreements, or one of them, be entered into and
strictly observed within their respective Universities or Colleges.

AND the Court having taken the same into Consideration, RESOLVED
Unanimously, "That this Court will adopt the above Resolutions and Agree-
ments and do their utmost Endeavours Collectively and Individually to carry the
same into Effect.

Several of the Magistrates present having stated to the Court the Observations
made by them on the different Mixtures for Bread as well as Experiments tried
by themselves and Samples of mixed Bread having been produced.

RESOLVED, That in future the Bread to be furnished for the Prisoners
in new Prison at Clerkenwell , and the House of Correction in Cold Bath Fields
be made of Two Third Parts Wheat Flour, and One Third Part Barley Flour,
and, That the Baker to the Prisons be directed to prepare the same accordingly.

RESOLVED, That no Bread be delivered to the said Prisons which has
not been baked Twenty-four Hours

RESOLVED, That Mr. HALL, the Housekeeper, at the Session House, do
furnish the Magistrates' Table with Bread, made with Two-thirds Wheat, and
One-third Barley Flour, and with no other Bread; and that no Pastry or Pye-
Crust in which Wheaten Flour is used be furnished at their Table.

RESOLVED, That these Resolutions be printed and sent to the Magistrates
of this County, with a Request that they make the same as public as possible in
their respective Divisions; and that they recommend the same to the serious
consideration and Practice of all Masters of Families, and other Inhabitants
of this County.
