Poor of the Parish of Harrow on the Hill
in the County of Middlesex and to
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Chesham
in the County of Bucks
and to each and every of them.

UPON the Complaint of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
the Poor of the Parish of Harrow on the Hill
in the County of Middlesex unto us whose Names
are hereunto set and Seals affixed, being two of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
and one of us of the Quorum, that
Joseph Burch< no role > and Ann< no role > His wife
did lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of Harrow on
the Hill not having gained a legal Settlement there, nor
produced any Certificate owning them to be settled
elsewhere, and that the said
Joseph Burch and Ann his Wife
are now likely to bechargeable to the said
Parish of Harrow on the Hill We the said
Justices upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination
of the said Joseph Burch upon Oath,
as otherwise, and likewise upon the Consideration had of the Premises,
do adjudge the same to be true; and we do likewise adjudge, that
the lawful Settlement of them the said
Joseph Burch< no role > and Ann his Wife
is in the said Parish of Chesham in the said
County of Mucks We do therefore
require you the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Harrow on the hill or some or
one of you to convey the said
Joseph Burch< no role > and Ann his Wife
from and our of your said Parish of Harrow on the hill
to the said Parish of Chesham and them
to deliver to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there,
to some or one of them, together with this our Order, or a true Copy
thereof. And we do also hereby require you the said Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of he said Parish of Chesham
to receive and provide for them as Inhabitant of your
Parish Given under our Hands and Seals the 14
Day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand
Seven hundred and Ninety five
