Gentlemen Solicitor for John Newton< no role > the Informer
in this cause maketh oath and Saith that he
did on the twenty first day of October instant
Personally Serve James Mercer< no role > the abovenamed
appellant with a true copy of the notice hereunto
annexed by delivering to and leaving Such copy
of the said notice with the said James Mercer< no role > at
his house at West Drayton in the county of
Middlesex And this deponent saith that he
did at the same time as well on behalf of the
said John Newton< no role > the informer as also on the
behalf of the poor of the Parish of Hillingdon
in the said county of Middlesex ( the Parish)
where the offence hereafter mentioned was committed
demand of and from the said James Mercer< no role >
Payment of the sum of twenty Pounds being the
forfeiture incurred by the said James Mercer< no role >
upon the conviction of him the said James Mercer< no role >
for a certain offence against an act of Parliament
made and Passed in the thirteenth year of the
reign of his Present Majesty intituled'' an act
''to repeal an act made in the tenth year of the
''reign of his present Majesty intituled an act
''for the better Preservation of the game within
