The Examination of ann< no role > the Wife of William Clarke< no role > of
Chatham Gardens City road in the Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex Watch=hand Piercer
Taken on Oath before me one of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace at and for the said County of Middlesex this 15th. day of
October 1795.

Who saith That on the Eleventh day of August last she went
to a house in Mount Row in the Parish of Saint James-
Clerkenwell in the said County where a Private Lottery or
Little go was kept. That about half hast eight or Nine
o Clock the same Night the Officers tookParkins and
Moody.the Prisoner Simon Wood< no role > was present and had
been calling the blanks and prizes as a woman [..] draw the [..]
numbers out of the Wheels (which wheels she understands
were taken from thence by the Officers that Evening)-
That this Examinant adventured the same Evening half a
Guinea with one Freegrove (who was afterwards-
apprehended and convicted of such Charge)
