To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Session of the Peace in and for the said County assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of William
Addington
< no role > and Edward Read< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
(one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the eleventh Day of
May last Elizabeth Holmes< no role > aged about two Years was
removed from the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the said
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint James
Clerkenwell in the same County as the Place of her last
legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved and against the said Order do appeal

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray that
a Day may be appointed to hear and determine
the Matter of the said Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
