WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and for
the said County of Middlesex , (one whereof being of the
Quorum,) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St. John of Wapping , that Ann
Watts< no role > Singlewoman

lately intruded and came into the said Parish of St. John of
Wapping , and is likely to become chargeable to the same:
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumsatances, do adjudge the same
to be true; and do also adjudge, that the last legal Set-
tlement of the said Ann Watts< no role >

is in the said Parish of Richmond in the
said County of Surrey

We do therefore require you, the said Churhwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St.
John of Wapping , or some or one of you, to remove and
convey the said Ann Watts< no role >

from and out of your said Parish of St. John of Wapping ,
to the said Parish of Richmond in the sd. County of Surrey
and her to deliver, (together with this our Order, or a true
Copy hereof,) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the said Parish of Richmond
or to some or one of them, who are hereby required to
receive and provide for her according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals, the fifth Day of December
in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and
ninety four
