To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. James at Clerkenwell , in the County of
Middlesex , and to the Chruch-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Bride in the
City of London

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us,
whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being
Two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of Middlesex , (One whereof being of the Quo
rum,) by the Church-Wardens or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. James , at Clerkenwell , in the said Coun-
ty, That Hannah Unwin< no role >
lately came to inhabit in the said Parish of St. James at
Clerkenwell , not having gained and legal Settlement
there, nor produced any Certificate acknowledging her
to be settled elsewhere, and she is likely tobecome
chargeable to the said Parish: We, the said Justices, upon
Examination of the Premises upon Oath, and Other Cir-
cumstances, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also
adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Hannah Unwin< no role >
to be in the Parish of Saint Bride in the City
of London

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, and by
Virtue of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you
on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said
Hannah Unwin< no role >
from and out of your said Parish of St. James at Clerken-
well , to the said Parish of Saint Bride
and her deliver to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together
with this Our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are
here by required to receive and provide for her
according to Law.
Given under our Hands and seals this Second
Day of January in the Year of Our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety five
