That your Petitioner are son or about the Twenty Eighth
day of November last convicted by

one of the Justices of the Peace for the said County in the
Penalty of Five Pounds on and Information charging that
Your Petitioner did on the Eighth day of November last expose
to sale and sell to one
Catharine Stewart< no role >
a certain Pot
containing Pomatum for the Hair for the price of Six Pence
subject to the stamp duty of one Penny without the stamped
ticket by a certain act of Parliament directed to be affixed to the
same being affixed and marked and stamped with the stamp
as by the said Act is directed and required contrary to the Statute
That your. Petitioner conceives himself aggrieved by such
conviction and is advised to appeal against the same
Your Petitioner therefore most humbly
prays your Worships will be pleased to
Permit him to enter his Appeal so that the
same may be hear at this General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace in and for the Said County
and that your Worships will appoint a day for
hearing and determining the same
And your Petitioner shall ever pray Etc.
