one of the Bail of the
abovenamed Defendant upon this Indictment maketh Oath
That John Young< no role >
the defendant abovenamed is now and hath
been ever since the fourteenth of October instant or thereabouts
in the Custody of the Sheriff of Middlesex
at the House of Mr.
Darw water one of his Officers in Wych Street
upon an Action at
the suit of James Spraggs< no role >
in the Court of Kings Bench for
One hundred and upwards and also upon one other Action
of Trover at the Suit of the same plaintiff for Two thousand
One hundred pounds and upwards in the same Court And this
Deponent verily believes that the said John Young< no role >
is not so in
Custody through any Collusion or with an Intent on his part
to avoid appearing and pleading in this Honorable Court to the
above Indictment And this Deponent further saith that he hath
this Morning seen the said John Young< no role >
and that he has a very
violent Inflammation in one of his Eyes which Ra [..] it
of imminent Danger to remove him from his Room into the
open air as this Deponent verily believes and according to the
best of his Judgement And this Deponent yesterday received
from the Surgeon who attends the said John Young< no role >
the Certificate
hereto annexed which he this Deponent believes to be strictly
true
