Middlesex


At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden in and for the County of Middlesex at the
Session House for the said County (by Adjournment) on Thursday
the sixtheenth day of January in the thirty fourth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great
Britain Etc

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Paul Covent Garden Within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
have at this present Session exhibited their Petition & Appeal setting forth that
by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the heads & Seals of Philip Neve< no role > and
Nathaniel Conant< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in & for the
said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the second day of
January instant John Evans< no role > was removed from the Parish of Saint Giles in the
Fields in the said County to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the Place
of his last Legal Settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved
Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioner It is Ordered that the benefit
of their said Appeal should be saved unto them and the hearing and determining
thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned until the next General Session of the
given unto the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Giles in the Fields they and all Persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session
House aforesaid on Thursday the twentieth day of February next at the hour of
nine in the forenoon of the same day of heav & abide the Judgment & determination
of the said Court touching the said Appeal
