To the Worshipful his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex and City and Liberty of Westminster
in their General Sessions of the peace for the said County
City and Libertyassembled

The humble Petition and appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Christ Church in the City of London

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under the
hands and Seals of Cranley Thomas Herby< no role > and Henry James
Pye
< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the
said CountyCity and Liberty aforesaid(one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the 29th.. day of August last Mary Gill< no role > Widow of
William Gill< no role > deceased with Charles< no role > her Child (by her said late
husband) were removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish
of Saint Margaret in the City of Westminster aforesaid to the Parish
of Christ Church aforesaid as the place of their last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
that the benefit of their said Appeal may be
reserved to them and that a day may be
appointed in the next General Quarter
Session of the Peace to be holden for the said
County for the hearing and determining the
said appeal and that the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St.
Margaret Westminster aforesaid be then and
there required to attend to hear and abide
the Judgement and determination of the
Court Touching the said appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
