Order of Adjournment

Middlesex


At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden in and for the County of Middlesex at the
Session house for the said County on Monday the 10th.
day of September in the 32d. year of the reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third King of Great Britain
Etc

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Christ Church in the City of London have at this present Session exhibited
their Petition and appeal setting forth that by virtue of an Order
or Pass Warrant under the hands and Seals of Cranley Thomas Herby< no role >
and Henry James Pye< no role > Esquires two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
29th. day of August last Mary Gill< no role > Widow of William Gill< no role > deceased
with Charles< no role > her Child (by her said late husband) were removed
and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Margaret Westmr .
aforesaid to the Parish of Christ Church aforesaid as the Place of
their last legal settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived
themselves aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the sd. Petitioners
It is ordered that the benefit of their said appeal should be saved
unto them and the hearing and determining thereof be and the same
is hereby adjourned until the next General Quarter Session of the
Peace to be holden for this County and on Notice hereof in the
meantime [..] to be given unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Margaret Westminster they and
all persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session aforesaid
on thursday the the first day of November next at the houre of
Nine in the Forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the
Judgement and determination of the said Court touching the said
appeal
