The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate in the City of
London .

Sheweth

That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and Seals of
William Kitchiner< no role > and Edward Naish< no role > Esquries two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the County of Middlesex andLiberty of Westminster (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing Date the fifth day of August one thousand seven hundred and
Ninety three Mary Gould< no role > Widow was removed and conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the said County of Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster
to the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate in the City of London and delivered to
your Petitioners being the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of Saint Botolph Aldersgate the said Justices adjudging the place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Mary Gould< no role > to be in the said Parish of Saint Botolph
Aldersgate .

That your Petitioners apprehend themselves to be aggrieved by the
Order of the said two Justices and therefore Appeal against the same

Your Petitioners humbly Ray that the benefit of this their
Appeal may be saved unto them And that the hearing and
determining thereof may be Adjourned until the next
General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said
County of Middlesex .
