MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex ; at the Session-House for the said
County, () on Monday
the Second Day of December
in the Thirty fourth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role > , William
Coleman
< no role > , Rupert Clarke< no role > , John Bond< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Luke Chelsea in the said County Did at the last General Quarter Session of the
peace held in and for this County Exhibit their Petition and Appeal setting forth
That by virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of Thomas
Gordon
< no role > and N. Conant Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace acting in and
for the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Twenty second
day of October 1793 Catherine Stoner< no role > . Singlewoman aged about Twenty two years
was removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Fulham in the said
County to the said Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea as the place of her last legal
settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved which said
Appeal stood duly adjourned until this Session

NOW, Upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises. IT IS ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the same is
hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside;
and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea do forthwith convey and
deliver back the said Catherine Stoner< no role > , Singlewoman
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Fulham who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said Catherine Stoner< no role > Singlewoman
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
