To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint James, within the Liberty of Westminster , in the County
of Middlesex , and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
within the said Liberty and County
and to each and every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace , acting in and for the
City and Liberty of Westminster , (one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint James, That Elizabeth Baxter< no role >
widow of John Baxter< no role > , and her twin Children to wit
John < no role > and William < no role > born the 2nd. October 1789
have lately intruded and came
into the said Parish of Saint James , and are likely to become
chargeable to the same: We, the said Justices, upon Exami-
nation of the Premises, upon Oath, and other Circumstances,
do adjudge the same to be true; and do also adjudge the Place
of the last legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth Baxter< no role >
and her two Children to be in the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields within the liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to require
you, the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint James, on Sight hereof, to remove
and convey the said Elizabeth Baxter< no role > and her said
Two Children
from and out of your said Parish of Saint Parish of Saint James , to the said
Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some, or one of them, together with
this our Order, or a true Copy thereof, who are hereby required
to receive and provide for them according to Law.GIVEN
under our Hands and Seals, this Twenty eighth Day of
August One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety three
