Robt. Mortimore< no role > of Nightingale Lane Limehouse
in the County of Middx. Shipwright who was in or about
the Mo. of Jany last bound by Recogne. to appear
agst Jane Lisk< no role > on a Charge of Felony Maketh oath that
a few Days before the Sessions of the Peace were held at
Clerkenwell in Feby last he was obliged to go down to
Persone. to hawsal some Burns with the Exors of his
late father Phillip Mortimore< no role > deceased where he was immediately
and unavoidably detained untill after the said Session
were ever by which amdent he has since understood
that the said Jane Lisk< no role > was not put on her Trial And
this Dept. fur. maketh Oath That the said not go down to
Portsmouth with a View not to attend the Sessions & appear
against the sd. Jane Lisk but was realty & has obliged
to go down to & was afterwds. [..] immediately [..]
and immediately detained at Portsmouth for the Various afored
much against his Lukention on his going down and he was
thereby prevented from attending at the Session as aforesaid
