To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the Peace in & for
the County of Middlesex in this present Sessions of the Peace
Assembled.

The humble Petition of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Parish of Powsey in the
County of Wilts.

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order under the hand and Seals of
Nathaniel Collant< no role > and John Scott< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Dale the 14th Day of
May Instant Mary Jordan< no role > and her five Children Namely
Harriot Jordan< no role > aged 12 Years and upwards William Jordan< no role >
aged 10 Years Ann Jordan< no role > aged 7 Years and upwards Hannah
Jordan
< no role > aged 5 Years and catherine Jordan< no role > aged 3 Years were
removed and conveyed how and out of the said Parish of
Hanwell to the said Parish of Pewsey as the Place of their
last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Order of the said two Justices
appeal to you Worships against the same
and humbly request that the Benefit of the
said Appeal may be reserved to them and that
a day may be appointed in the next General
Session of the Peace to be holden for
the said County of Middlesex for the hearing and
determining the same And that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the said Parish of Hanwell be
then and there ordered to attend to hear & abide
the Judgement and Determination of the County
touching the said AppealAnd Your Petitioners
shall ever pray Etc.
