Several Petitions having been presented on
behalf of Prisoners complaining of the
unhealthiness of the prison called the
House of Correction Clerkenwell & that
a fever which endangered their lives
raged in the sdGoalPrison
And it appearing to the Court by the
Report of the Apothecary attendingthe
Said Prisons Clerkenwell Bridewell & New Prison that there is an unusual
Number of Persons Sick inthe said
Prison Clerkenwell Bridewell
The Court directed Mr. Chamberlayne
(who had for some time past officiated
for Mr. Gibbs the Apothecary to attend the Court
