Resolved That a sufficient quantity of
Yorkshire Elland Edge Paving Stone be procured as soon as
possible for the purpose of paving the Court Yards for the Male
Prisoners of the Third & Fourth Class and that the Ground
be immediately levelled & prepared for that purpose

Ordered That an advertisment be Incerted in the
Daily advertiser for proposal to be delivered to the Commee at their next Meeting for 2000 Yards of Yorkshire
Eleand Edge Paving Stone of Two and an Half Inches think at
least to be delivered upon the premises at the said House &
Correction on the first day of May next ar as much some
as possible and that the same be paid for upon Delivery

Resolved That Mr Braithwaite be directed
to carry the Resolution of the rest Committee into Effect without
further Delay by emptying the present well and Examining the
nature of the Water, and if any Difficulties shared arise that
Mr Hinleybe denied todo [..] Summon the Committee to meet
immediately and direct Mr Braithwaite to attend

Mr Rogers acquainted the Committee that it was
his Opinion that a further number of 40 Calls might be ready
by Midsummer next Resolved That Mr Rogers be desired to use
all possible means of accomplishing the same

Mr Rogers laid before the Committee the following
Certificate vizt.

and the same being Read Ordered That Mr Hinley do pay to the
said William Hopcraft< no role > the sum of Seven Hundred and fifty pounds
on further account of Masons work performed by him at the said
House of Correction
