To the Worshipful William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire
and the rest of the Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Edmenton in the said County

Sheweth


That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of
sd R Davies Esqr and H R Requett Esquires Clerk two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said County
searing date the Eighth day of December One thousand
seven hundred and ninety two Sarah Currell< no role > and Five
of her Children namely Jane< no role > aged about twelve Years
ann< no role > aged about ten Years Mary< no role > aged about eight
Years Lydia< no role > aged about Six Years and James< no role > aged about
four Years were by the said Justices Order removed from
the Parish of Saint Leonard Bromley in the said County
and adjudged to have their Lawful Settlement in the
said Parish of Edmonton and did thereby require your
Petitioners to receive and provide for them as
Inhabitants of the said Parish

That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
by the said Order of the said Justices And therefore

Most humbly Pray your Worships that
the said Order may be quashed And that
your Worships will be pleased to appoint
a day in this present Session for the
hearing and determining this Appeal

And your Petitioners will
ever Pray etc
