"and other the Parishes Precincts and Places within the Weekly Bills of
"Mortality the Parishes of Saint Mary lebone Paddington Saint Pancras
"and Saint Luke at Chelsea in the County and for indemnifying under
"certain Conditions Builders and other Persons against the Penalties
"to which they are or may be liable for Erecting Buildings within the
"Limits aforesaid contrary to Law" to wit an Addition or Alteration to a
certain Building not being a Dwelling which did not exceed one Clear
Stery above Ground without first giving Twenty four hours notice to one
Charles Beazley< no role > who before and at the time of beginning the said
Building was and still is the Surveyor appointed under and by virtue
of the said Act to the said District of Saint James and Saint John
Clerkenwell and within whose District the said Building was and is
Situate and did also order and adjudge that He the Petitioner had
forfeited and should pay for the said Offence to the said Charles Beazley< no role >
the Sum of Three Pounds Three Shillings being treble the satisfaction
which he the said Charles Beazley< no role > would have been entitled to receive
for his Trouble in viewing the said Building and seeing the Rules
and Regulations of the said Act well and truly observed therein in case
such Notice had been given; whereby the Petitioner conceived himself
aggrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been
alledged by the respective Parties and their Counsel in and concerning
the Premises It is Ordered that the said Conviction be and the
same is hereby Quashed.
