In an Appeal agst. an Order under the hands and
Seals of the Reverend Dr. Brackley Kennett< no role > and
Edward Read< no role > Esqr. Two of his Majestys Justices of the
peace acting in and for the sd. County (Quorum Unus)
bearing date the 10th. day of October 1791. Whereby
Thomas Pooler< no role > was Removed and conveyed from the
Respondents to the Appellants Parish as the place of his
last legal Settlement.

The following is a Copy of the Examination of the pauper Thomas
Pooler
< no role > taken at the Instance of the Appellants the 17th. day of
October 1791.

Westminster , to wit,


Who Saith on his Oath that he is 66. Years old and never
was married - That he was a Yearly hired Servant to the Bishop of
Winchester at the Palace at Chelsea in the parish of Saint Luke
Chelsea upwards of Six Years at the Yearly Wages of Six pounds
That he quitted the same Fifteen years ago and hath not done
any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement.
