To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General Quarter Session of the
Peace for the said County assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell in the said
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order under the Hands and Seals of
Thomas Gordon< no role > and Rupert Clarke< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of th Peace in and for the said County
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the sixteenth
Day of September one thousand seven hundred and ninety
one Elizabeth Davis< no role > Singlewoman was removed and
conveyed from the Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton
Garden and Ely Rents in the [..] Parish of Saint
Andrew Holborn in the said County to the said Parish
of Saint James at Clerkenwell as the place of her last
legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners think
themselves aggrieved and Appeal to this Court against
the same:

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly
Pray this Court will please to appoint a
time for hearing and determining the said
Appeal and that all Persons concerned
may then Attend
