The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Mary Lambeth in the County of Surrey

Sheweth

That by an Order or pass Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of Mich: Downs< no role > and Samuel Thorpe< no role > two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace acting in and for the City and Liberty of
Westminster (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
23d. day of March last Susannah Caldon< no role > Wife of Jeremiah Caldon< no role >
(who hath deserted her) and their two Children Vizt. Mary Ann< no role >
borne 23d. of February 1787 and David Jeremiah< no role > born the
4th. of April 1790 was removed and conveyed from and out
of the Parish of St. James Within the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St. Mary
Lambeth as the place of their las legal Settlement whereby
your Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved
