WHEREAS Complaint has been made to Us, Two of His
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex ,
(whereof one is of the Quorum) by the Churchwarden and Overseers
of the Poor of that Part of the Parish of Saint Andrew, Holborn, which
lies above the Bars , in the said County, That
Martha Sherman< no role > Singlewoman hath
lately come into the said Part of the said Parish of St: Andrew, Holborn,
endeavouring to settle there contray to Law: And it appeareth unto
Us the said Justices, and we do adjudge, That she is likely
to become chargeable thereto, and upon Examination of the said
Martha Sherman
taken upon Oath, is
farther appeareth unto Us, and we do likewise adjudge, That
the parish of Saint Martin in the fields within the Liberty of
Westminster aforesaid in the said County of Middlesex
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to charge and command
the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the said Part of the
said Parish of Saint Andrew, Holborn , forthwith to remove and convey
the said
Martha Sherman< no role >
from and out of the said Part of the said Parish, to the said Parish
of Saint Martin in the fields
and deliver her
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for her
according to Law: Given under our Hands and Seals the Second
