of the Parish of
Christ Church
Middlesex
the Parish of Saint Paul Shadwell
and the
Hamlet of Mile End new "Town
in the said County
Sheweth
That your Petitioners was ordered by
John Staples< no role >
Esqr
and the Revd.
Herbert Mayo< no role >
DD two of his Majesty Justices of the Peace
for the County
of Middlesex
residing in the Parish of Saint George Middlesex
to survey the
Building in the said Parish since the Death of Mr.
Thomas Dade< no role >
the late
Surveyor And on examining the same found a Number not certified and Numbers
of others erected contrary to the Statute in that Cases made and provided that
you Petitioner hath caused several of them to be alter'd and others to enter into
Recognizances to alter the same agreeable to the said Statute within times
not as yet expired, and others have begun to be built under the Inspection
of your Petitioner
Therefore Humbly Prays your Worships to permit him to Certify
those that he hath caused to be alterd and also those began under the Inspection
of you Petitioner
And as in Duty, bound will ever pray
