On the Prosecution of Thomas
Harrison

William Sanford< no role > of Conduit Street Hanover Square
in the County of Middlesex Watch maker Brother
to the Defendant Maketh Oath That the Defendant
hath lately been obliged to take a Journey into
Worcestershire on particular business And this Deponent
verily believes he will not be able to return to Town
in time to take his Trial in this Matter at the Present
Session [..] And this Deponent also
Saith the Defendant hath Commenced an Action
against the Prosecutor and several thus for Assaulting
and Imprisoning him which is the same dispute
for which this Prosecution is Commenced And this
Deponent is Informed and verily believes it will
Materially Prejudice the Defendant it this Prosecution
was to be Treed before his Action against the
Prosecutor and others And this Deponent further
Saith the said Cause is at Issue & Intended to be
Treed at the first Setting in next Easter term
And this Deponent further Saith that on Friday
last he served the Prosecutor with the Notice
hereunto Annext by leaving a true Copy thereof
with his Wife at his House in Kentish Town
