was Informed and which he believes to be three that no such
person as the said James Hunt< no role > lived or resided there, And
this Deponent Saith that caused Inquiry to be made at
Fletcher's Row aforesaid for the said George Se [..] the other
Bail in this Cause and upon such Inquiry this Deponent is
informed and Believes that the said George Se [..] is Clerk
or Writer to the said James Hunt< no role > and is an improper person
to become Bail for the said Defendant. And this Deponent
Saith that a Bill of Indictment was sat the last December
Sessions preferred and found by this Deponent against the
said Defendant for the said Offence And this Deponent Saith
that he did in the last December Session apply by Counsel to
this Court to Estreat the Recognizance of the Defendant's Bail
into the Exchequer which was opposed by Counsel on behalf of
the Defendant's Bail upon an Allegation as this Deponent was
Informed and believes that the Defendant was at Canterbury or some
other Part of Kent and that they would use their utmost Endeavours
to produce him at this present Session to plead to and try his
Traverse on the said Indictment And this Deponent Saith that
he caused several Searches to be made with the proper Officer of this
Court at the last and present Session, to know whether the said
Defendant put in Bail on the Said Indictment And upon such
Searches this Deponent is informed and believes that the said
Defendant hath neither appeared pleaded or put in Bail as
he ought to have done
