John Wardell< no role > of New Compton Street Soho in the County
of Middlesex Gentleman Maketh Oath and Saith that
he hath made diligent Inquiry after John Stanford
Girdler the Prosecutor in this Indictment at his usual
and last Place of Residence Previous to and on the
eighth Day of February instant but this Deponent
was in formed by the Clerk or Servant or some other
person that lives in the Apartments of the said John
Stanford Girdler that the said Prosecution was not
in Town but was at Bath or same other Place in the
County therefore this Deponent Could not same him
with a Notice that the Defendant would appear and
try the Traverse in this Indictment on this Day the
present Session for the County of Middlesex
