in the said County of Middlesex
Person Broker
Sheweth
That by a certain Conviction in writing under the
Hand and Seal of William Hyde< no role >
Esquire
one of his Majesty's Justices
of the peace
for the said County of Middlesex
bearing Date
the Twenty Fourth Day of September last your petitioner was
Convicted before the said Justice For that he your
Petitioner being a Pawn broker on the Twenty third Day of
July then last past at the parish of Saint paul Covent Garden
aforesaid [..] the County of Middlesex
aforesaid did take
and receive of and from one Mary pais< no role >
a certain Pawn or
Pledge that is to say a Puir of Candle sticks and did then
and there Advance and lend thereon the Sum of Six
Shillings of Lawful Money of Great Britain
That being such Person Broker as aforesaid and not
Regarding the Statute in Such Case made and provided
Nor fearing the Penalty therein Contained Did not before
your Petitioner had Advanced and Cent the said Sum of
Six Shillings the said Person or Pledge enter or Cause
to be entered in a Fair and regular Manner in any
Book or Books kept for that Purpose a Description of the
said Candlesticks or either of them which your Petitioner
so received in Pawn and also the said Sum of Money to
be advanced and Cent there on with the Day of the Month
and Year on which such Candle sticks were so Pawned
and pledged and the Name and Place of abode of the Person by
whom the same were so Pawned and Pledged and also
the Name & Place of Abode of the Owner thereof according
to the Information of the Person Pawning or Pledging
the same according to the Direction of the Statute in such
Case made and provided but wholly regleacted to make
such Entry as aforesaid contrary to the form of the Statute
in such Case made and provided
