That by an Order of Session dated the 7th. day of
May 1789. Under the hands and Seals of

two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
acting and inhabiting in the Parish of Saint Andrew
Holborn which lies above the Bars
in the said County of
Middlesex
and the Parish of Saint George the Martyr
in
the said County Your Petitioner and Appeallant was
adjudged the Putative Father of the Male Wastard Child
born of the Body of
Mary Child< no role >
formerly
Mary
Champer< no role >
Single Woman
and was thereby Ordered to Pay
to the Overseers of the Poor of the above Parishes the
Sum of Four Pounds Nine Shillings and Six Pences by
them alledged to be expended for the releif of & Maintenance
of the said Child and was thereby also Ordered in Future
to Pay the said Overseers the weekly Sum of three
Shilliings & Six Pence towards the Maintenance of the
said Child so long as the same should remain charged the
That Your Petitioner and Appeallant conceiving
himself to be materially injured and agrieved by the
said Order of the said Justices is advised to appeal therefrom
And therefore
Your Petitioner & Appeallant
humbly Prays that such his Appeal
may be received and Entered at the
next General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace or the adjournment thereof and
that a day may be appointed for
hearing and determing the same
And Your Petr. shall ever Pray
