Take Notice that you are hereby required to
be and appear before us Charles Digby< no role > Esquire and Robert Smith< no role >
Esquire Two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex on Saturday the seventeenth Day of November Instant
At Three o Clock in the Afternoon at the House of William Biner< no role >
known by the Sign of the Crown in The Hamlet of Mile End Old
Town in the Parish of Saint Dunstan Stebonheath otherwise
Stepney in The County of Middlesex or before such other of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace as shall be then and there Assembled
to shew Cause (it you can) why you should not be adjudged the
putative Father of a Male Bastard Child born of the Body of
Frances Fitzer< no role > Singlewoman in the Work house of thesaidHamlet of
Ratcliff in the Parish and County aforesaid And why upon the Complaint of the Overseers of the poor of
the saidHamlet of Ratcliff aforesaid an Order should not be made
upon you for the Relief and Judgement of the said Hamlet of
Ratcliff touching the Premisses Dated this 15th Day of November
1787
