to Borough of Portesmouth and this Deponent is well acquainted with the said
Sir Jon Carters Mode of Writing and Signature And this Deponent Saith that he
hath looked at the Examination of Richard Stephens< no role > hereunto annexed and
particuarly at the Jurat thereunder written and this deponent verily beleives
the Words and Names following vizt. "One of his Majesys Justices of the Peace
for the said County & Borough John Carter< no role > " and Part of such Jurat to be of
the Proper Hand Writing of him the said Sir John Carter< no role > above
mentioned.
