Took into further consideration the Order of Reference to this Committee
respecting the Claim of the County for a fair Contribution to the County Rate from
in District in this County called the Tower Royally.

Mr. Stirling reported that he had made Inquiry of the Representatives
of the late Mr. Higgs relative to an Action being commenced for Recovery of the County
Rate due from the Tower Liberty in the Year 1741 but that he had not been able to
obtain any Information or Account to prove that the right had ever obtained a
legal discussion Mr. Stirling also reported tha he had inquired of the
County Treasurer when any and what Sums of Money had been paid by the
County on account of the Tower Liberty and that he had procured the following
as the only Entries that apeared in he Books concerning the same Vizt.

The Keeper of Newprison at Clerkenwell attending the Committee pursuant
to an Order for that purpose laid before them the following Account

"Thomas Ivers< no role > Committed by James Robinson< no role > Esqr [..] others from
"the Session house at Well Close Square on the 8th. Decr. 1784 and bailed out
"by Rt. Smith< no role > Esqr . on the 10th. Decr.

The Governor of the House of Correction at Celkenwell attending the
Committee pursuant to an Order for the purpose laid before them the
