To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General Quarter Session of the
Peace assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal
of the Church Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Gregory by Saint Pauls in the City of
London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order or passer
Warrant under the Hands and Seals of Samuel
Hawkins
< no role > and John Staples< no role > Esquires two of his
Majestys Justices of the peace acting in and for
the County of Middlesex aforesaid one of when being
of the Quorum) bearing Date the fifth Day of January
instant Susannah Cook< no role > wife of George Cook< no role > who
hath deserted her was removed and conveyed
out of the Parish of Saint Mary White Chapel in
the said County to the said Parish of St Gregory [..]
by Saint Pauls in the City of London , at the Place
of her last legal Settlement

That you Petitioners conceiving
themselves aggrieved by the said Warrant
