At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session. House for the said County, on (Monday in the week not a forth) feast
on of the Epiphary ban the ninth Day of January in the
Twenty SixthYear of the Reign of our Sovereing Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Before William
Mainwaring

Whereas Application being made unto this Court by William Squire< no role >
one of the High Constables of the Hundred of Edmonton in this County Requesting to be
discharged from the said Office having served in the same upwards of three
and this Court being Satisfied in the premises and William George< no role >
of Enfield in the said County Gentleman being recommended by two
of this Majestys Justices of the peace for this County residing and acting within
the said Hundred as a fit and proper person to serve the said Office
This Court do the hereby [..] absolutely discharged the said William Squire< no role > from the said office and doth hereby appoint the said William George< no role > to be one of the
High Constables within the Hundred of Edmonton in the said County in the place and [..]
of the said William Squire< no role > and the said William George< no role > being present here [..]
his our proper Person in Open Court took the Oath for the due Execution of
the said Officeand the saidhereby absolutely discharged
from his said office.
