The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Whitchurch
in the County
of Oxford.
Sheweth
That by virtue of an Order under the hands & Seals of
Thomas Collins< no role >
and
John Bosworth< no role >
Esquires
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the fifth day of April 1785 Henry aged seven
Years the Male Bastard Child of
Mary Ely< no role >
was removed and conveyed from the Parish of
Saint Mary le Bone
in the said County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Whitchurch
aforesaid
as the Place of his last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves to be
aggrieved
Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this Court against the
Adjudication of the said two Justices and their said Order And pray that
your Worships will please to appoint some day in this Session for the Hearing
and Determining this Appeal And to order that the Churchwardens andOverseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary le Bone
and all
Persons concerned do then attend this Court
