To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Session of the peace Assembled

The Humble Petiiton and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Mary le Bone in the said Countyof

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or pass Warrant
under the hands and Seals of Rd. Taylor< no role > and James
Croft
< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace in and for the said County (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty
first day of Julylast1785 Mary Smith< no role > Single Woman
and her Bastard Child named William< no role > aged three months were
removed from the Parish of Saint Pancras in
the said County of Middlesex to the said parish
of Saint Mary le Bone as the place of their
last legal Settlement Whereby your petitioners
Conceive themselves aggrieved and humbly appeal
therefrom

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray your
worships will be pleased to hear them
in the premes And to order that the
Church wardens and Overseers of the poor
of the said parish of SaintMary le Bone
Pancras may appear before you at a certain
day to be Appointed to Hear and abide
the Judgement and determinationof
of your worships touching this appeal

And your Petitioners shall pray us
