To His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition of John Martin< no role > of
Bull Inn Court in the Strand

Sheweth


That in consequence of the Misfortunes of Mr
Thomas Parry< no role > who attended Your Worships as Door keeper
at the Session House he is no longer able to attend in that
Capacity

That your Petitioner has attended the Court
that present Session instead of the said Mr parry [..]
prays your Worships to be appointed to Succeed him

That in Case Mr Parry shared be Released
from his present Situation and your Worships Shared
think proper to Restore him to his former place
your Petitioner wod relinquish in his favour without regret

Your Petitioner therefore humbly
Prays Your Worships to appoint him
to succeed Mr Parry

And your Petitioner as in duty bound
will ever pray
