maketh Oath and saith That on or about the Sixteenth
Day of August last the Prisoner William Ryan was
committed by R Smith Esquire one of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the county of Middlesex
for
feloniously assuming the Name and Character of the next
of Kin of John Harrison< no role >
late a Seaman
belonging to his
Majesty's ship the [..] deceased in order to receive the
Wages due for the service of the said John Harrison< no role >
on
board the said ship and this Deponent further saith
That William Allman< no role >
of upper east Smithfield
in the
County of Middlesex
Victualler
and Thomas Harrison< no role >
of Islington
in the said County Plaisterer
were as this
Deponent believes (upon the Commitment of the said
William Ryan) bound in a Recognizance to appear
at the then next and now last September Session [..]
held for the County of Middlesex
and to prosecute the said
William Ryan for the said Offence And this Deponent
further saith that at the last Session of Oyer and
Terminer and Goal Delivery held at the Old Baily
in
the said Month of September last an Application was
made to that court by Council grounded upon an
