To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the
Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square .

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass warrant or Order under the hands and seals of
and Jas: Dyson< no role > and Mich Downs< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the City and
Liberty of Westminster (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the twenty fifth day of March One thousand
seven hundred and eighty four Matthew Whitehead< no role >
aged about thirty three years was removed and conveyed
from the Parish of St. James in the Liberty of Westminster in
the said County to the said Parish of St. George Hanover Square as the place of his last legal settlement
whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved
and appeal to this Court against the same.

Your petitioners therefore humbly pray relief in
the Premises and that a day in this present
Session may be appointed for the hearing
and determination of the said Petition and
appeal

And your Petitioner shall ever Pray Etc.
