maketh Oath
and saith that
martha Ripperd< no role >
who
some time since in an Examination in writing taken upon oath charged
Thomas Pierson< no role >
with being the father of the child or
Children of which she was them pregnant,
and which was or were likely to be born a Bastard
or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said
Parish of Hampstead
is and remains at the
present time Pregnant with such Child or
Children and hath not been delivered there of
And this Deponent further saith that the said
Thomas Pierson< no role >
was lately apprehended

in consequence of such pregnancy and taken before

Esquire
one of His Majesty's
I Justices of the Peace for the said County and
thereupon entered into Recognizance with a
surety to appear at this present session and
answer the complaint fo the overseers of the poor of the said Parish
and abide such Order as should be made in pursance
of the statute in such case made and provided
Sworn in Open Court at the General Session
of the Peace holden for the County of Middlesex
at the session house of the said County on
Monday the 15th day of December 1783}
