Mary Higgins< no role > for an Assault

William Archer< no role > of the Parish of Saint Andrew
Holborn in the County of Middlesex Book keeper the
above named Defendant and Daniel Warren< no role > of the Same
place Sawyer Severally make Oath and first this
Deponent William Archer< no role > for himself Saith That in
October Session last the above Named Mary Higgins< no role > Preferred
a Bill of Indictment to the Grand Jury against this
Deponent [..] for an Assault which was returned
a true bill And this Deponent pleaded not Guilty
to the said Bill of Indictment and put in fresh Bail
to Try his Traverse to the said Indictment at this
Present Session And this Deponent Saith That
the Prosecute (as he hath been informed and believes)
hath since removed from her then place of abode and
this Deponent hath used every Effort in his power to
find ant the now place of abode of the prosecution in
order to have served her with & Notice to Try his
Traverse on the said Indictment at this Present
Session but this Deponent hath been able to do
And this Deponent Daniel Warren< no role > for himself
Saith That he went with the above named William
Archer
< no role > several times in endeavouring to find out
the Place of abode of the above named Mary Higgins< no role >
in order to Serve her with Notice of Tryal in the
above Cause and that he did ask ag [..] tgreat number
of persons who were acquainted [..] with the
said Mary Higgins< no role > where she was to be found But
they either could not or would not inform this Deponent
