the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session
Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Bartholomew the Great in the City of London

Sheweth

That by an Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals of The Reverend
Sir George Booth< no role > Baronet and William Blackborow< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace acting in and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing Date the second Day of September 1783 Catherine
Townsend< no role > was removed from the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the County of
Midddlesex to the Parish of Saint Bartholomew the Great aforesaid
Lodging the said Parish of Saint Bartholomew the Great to be the place
of her last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this Court against
the adjudication of the said two Justices and their said Order and
pray that your Worships will please to appoint a Day for the
Hearing and Determining of this Appeal And to order that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Sepulchre aforesaid and all persons concerned Do
then Attend this Court to hear and abide the Judgment &
Determination of your Worships in the Premises And
your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
