To His Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in general Quarter Session
of the Peace at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in and
for the said County assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Christ Church in the City of London .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Thomas Brooksbank< no role >
and David Wather< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace acting in and forth County of Middlesex
aforesaid (whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing date
the twelfth day of September last past Ruth Singleton< no role >
[..] was removed from the Liberty of Saffron Hill
Hatton Garden and Ely Rents in the Parish of Saint
Andrew Holborn in the said County to the said Parish
of Christ Church in the City of London as the last Legal
Place of Settlement of the said Ruth Singleton< no role > whereby
Your Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggreived
and against the said Order do appeal.

Your. Petitioners therefore humbly pray
that the said Appeal may be received and the
hearing and determining thereof [..] adjourned
over until the next General Session of the Peace
to be holden at Hicks Hall in and for the said
County of Middlesex And that Your Petitioners
may have such Relief in the premises as to
your Worships shall seem meet.
