WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of South Mims
unto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting
in and for the said County of Middlesex
(and one of us of the Quorum) that

Single Woman
hath
lately intruded into your said Parish of South Mims
there to inhabit as a Parishioner contrary to the Laws relating
to the Settlement of the Poor, and is there
likely tobecome
chargeable,
if not timely prevented:And WHEREAS upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises, by the Oath
of the said Mary Gunyon
it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, that the said
Mary Gunyon< no role >
is
like tobecome chargeable unto the said Parish of South Mims
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said
Mary Gunyon< no role >
is in the said Parish of
Saint James Westminster
in the said County of Middlesex
THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order nad require
you the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of South Mims
aforesaid, that you
or some of you, doth forthwith remove and convey the said
Mary Gunyon< no role >
from your said Parish of South Mims
to the said Parish of Saint James
Westminster
and her deliver
to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some
or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a
true Copy hereof: whereby they are likewise required, in his
Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case
made, forthwith to receive the said Mary Gunyon< no role >
into their said Parish and provide for her
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals
the Eighth Day of March in the Year of
our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty
