WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex (one Whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Edmonton in the said County,
That Henry Le Vallain< no role > Aged about Eight years James
Le Vallain
< no role > Aged about Six years and a half, and
Jane Le Vallain < no role > Aged about Five years and an half
three Children who have gained no legal Settlement
in their own right lawful Issue of John< no role > David< no role > Robert< no role >
William< no role > and of Ann< no role > his wife who have desnted
them and left them destitute and unprovided for
lately came into the said Parish, endeavoring to Settle
there, contrary to Law, And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that they arelikely
to
become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exami-
nation of Rachael Beleham< no role >
taken upon Oath, is further appeareth unto us,
and we do likewise adjudge, that Saint Bethnal
Green in the Said County
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said John David Robert le Vallain
father & the said Henry William James le Vallain
and Jane Le Vallain
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Dunston
James William and Jane William
from the said Parish of Dunston
to the said Parish of Saint Mathew Bethnal Green
and deliver them to the Church-wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some ar one of them, who are bere-
by required to provide for them according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals the 28thDay of
January 1780.

To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Respective Parishes of
(Edmonton and Saint Mathew
Bethnal Green
in the County of Middlesex ,
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
