Resolved, that the Silver Mallet presented to the Justices
of the peace for this County by his Grace the Duke of
Northumberland, be delivered to the House keeper to
be carefully presended for the use of the Chairman of
the Session of the pence for this County for the time
being as a Hammer or Instrument for the purpose of keeping
Order and that the said Mallit be delivered to the
House keeper for that purposed accordingly

Resolved unanimously that the Thanks of the Court
be given to his Grace the Duke of Northum buland
for the very Great honour his grace did the Justices
of the Peace for this County in laying the first Stone
of their intended new Session house and also for his
polite and obliging present of the Silver Mallet
with which his Grace performed the Caremoney

Resolved that the Clk of he peace doe wait upon his
Grace the Duke of Northumberland with the above
note of thanks.
