The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Peter in the
City of Chester.
Sheweth
That by a certain Warrant or Order under the
Hands and Seals of
William Timbrell< no role >
and
Charles Marsh< no role >
her
of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the City and
Liberty of Westminster
(one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing late the 9th. Day of June last
Francis Froggatt< no role >
with his two Children to wit
Francis< no role >
aged about six Years
and
Ann< no role >
aged about three Years were removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
in the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Saint Peter
in the City of Chester as the
place of their last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved.
Your Petitioners there fore humbly appeal to
this Court against the said Warrant or Order of
the said two Justices and pray that your Worships
will appoint some day in the next general Session
of the Peace to be holden for this County for
hearing and determining the sd. Appeal.
And your Petitioners will ever pray Etc.
